How to Migrate to Kitenzo from Another Bundle App

Switching bundle apps can feel daunting — especially if you have dozens of active bundles with complex pricing. This guide walks you through migrating to Kitenzo with zero downtime.

Before You Start

Take stock of what you have:

• How many active bundles do you currently have?

• Are there URL redirects you need to maintain?

Step 1: Install Kitenzo

Install Kitenzo from the Shopify App Store. Your existing bundle app stays active — nothing changes until you're ready to switch.

Step 2: Recreate Your Bundles

Use Kitenzo's visual builder to recreate each bundle. Most merchants find this takes 5-10 minutes per bundle. Key things to configure:

• Products and variants — add the same products to each step
• Pricing rules — set up matching discounts (percentage, fixed, or tiered)
• Design — use the template editor to match your current look

Tip: Start with your highest-traffic bundle. Get it right, then use it as a template for the rest.

Step 3: Test Thoroughly

Before going live:

1. Preview each bundle on desktop and mobile
2. Test the full checkout flow with a test order
3. Verify inventory deduction works correctly
4. Check that discounts apply as expected

Step 4: Set Up Redirects

If your old bundles had their own URLs (e.g., /pages/build-your-box), set up 301 redirects in Shopify to point to the new Kitenzo bundle pages.

Go to Settings → Navigation → URL Redirects in your Shopify admin.

Step 5: Switch Over

1. Publish your Kitenzo bundles
2. Uninstall your old bundle app
