Shopify stays the system of record
Products, variants, inventory, cart, checkout, orders, and payments remain in Shopify. Kitenzo manages bundle definitions, selection rules, validation, and bundle configuration.
Security & Architecture
Kitenzo adds the bundle decision layer while Shopify remains responsible for the core commerce journey. Here is how that boundary works.
Products, variants, inventory, cart, checkout, orders, and payments remain in Shopify. Kitenzo manages bundle definitions, selection rules, validation, and bundle configuration.
Kitenzo’s native and headless paths compile bundle configuration into Shopify cart and checkout flows. Kitenzo does not replace Shopify checkout or process merchant app payments directly.
Headless API access is enabled for individual shops. API keys are issued per shop, and allowed storefront origins are configured with the merchant or implementation team.
Custom bundle interfaces can live in a repository owned by the merchant, agency, studio, or independent developer. The published Kitenzo core and React packages are MIT licensed.
