Introducing the Conditions Engine
Build smart if/then/else logic flows for your bundles with our new visual rules engine. Show, hide, discount, and enforce — all without code.
We're excited to announce the Conditions Engine — a visual, node-based rules engine that lets you build sophisticated if/then/else logic for your bundles.
What It Does
The Conditions Engine lets you create rules that respond to customer selections in real-time. Think of it as a flow chart for your bundle logic.
Example Rules
- If a customer selects a large size, then show the matching accessories
- If the bundle total exceeds $100, then apply a 15% discount
- If fewer than 3 items are selected, then disable the checkout button
- If a specific product is in the bundle, then add a free gift
How It Works
- Open the Conditions Engine from your bundle editor
- Add condition nodes (if/then/else)
- Connect them to action nodes (show, hide, discount, add gift)
- Publish — rules run in real-time on your bundle page
The visual interface means you can see your entire logic flow at a glance. No code, no Liquid, no CSS.
Who Is This For?
The Conditions Engine is available on the Performance plan. It's designed for merchants who need:
- Complex product dependencies (size-specific accessories, dietary restrictions)
- Dynamic discounting (spend thresholds, quantity tiers)
- Guided selling (step-by-step product selection with smart defaults)
Getting Started
The Conditions Engine is live now. Open any bundle in Kitenzo and click Rules in the sidebar to start building.
